En Place Marmalade - Red Onion

A rich, caramelised red onion marmalade made with raw cane sugar, red wine and balsamic vinegar, with a hint of caraway and bay. A useful base for a quick onion gravy, a topping for bruschetta or a quiche base. Pairs well with hard cheeses such as parmesan or pecorino, and cuts through rich baked cheese dishes using comte, emmental or manchego. Also lovely in a steak sandwich, a cheeseburger or a veggie slider. 270g.
