Shipping and Delivery Information

Dispatch and Delivery Times

Dispatch: We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days for non custom items.
At checkout, you can choose either First Class or Second Class delivery.
UK Delivery 2nd Class: Second Class delivery typically takes a further 3 to 4 working days after dispatch. Please allow approximately 7 to 10 working days from order to delivery when selecting Second Class.
UK Delivery 1st Class: First Class delivery typically takes a further 1 to 2 working days after dispatch. Please allow approximately 5 to 7 working days when selecting First Class.
Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
All UK orders are provided with a tracking number once dispatched.

If you require an order urgently, needed within one week, please contact us before placing your order to discuss faster shipping options.

Address Accuracy

Please ensure all delivery details provided, including postcode, are accurate. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided, this may result in delays, failed delivery, or the parcel being returned to us.
Where an order is not returned to us due to address errors provided at checkout, we are unable to offer a refund for either the products or the original delivery charge.
If a parcel is returned to us, any additional redelivery costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery Methods

Depending on the recipient's address, deliveries may be made by courier, Royal Mail, Parcel Force, or other bodies or delivered directly by us.

Free Local Delivery
- Eligibility: Available for orders over £60 within 10 miles of Ballycastle (BT54 6NL).
- Missed Local Deliveries: If no one is available to accept the delivery, the item will not be left unless specific instructions have been provided. Instead, the item will be available for collection from our Ballycastle pick-up point. Please note, a second delivery attempt will not be made.
Free Local Pick-Up:
Available from our office at 21 Ballinlea Road, Ballycastle, BT54 6NL. Orders may take 2–4 working days to prepare, and we will contact you to arrange collection.

Not currently shipping internationally.

Import Duties

Import duties and taxes may be charged by customs authorities and are payable by the recipient.
We cannot advise on specific charges, as these vary by destination.

Delays and Special Arrangements

Postage and production times may occasionally be delayed due to factors beyond our control.
For unexpected delays, we will notify you as soon as possible.
Royal Mail does not classify items as lost until 10 working days after dispatch.

Reporting a Non Received Item
If you believe your order has not arrived, please contact us as soon as possible at basaltandoak@gmail.com, with your order number.

If your parcel is marked as delivered but has not been received, Royal Mail advises customers to first check the following:
• Check around your property and any designated safe place
• Check with neighbours or other occupants who may have accepted the delivery
• Check with your local Post Office, as parcels are occasionally held there

For UK deliveries, Royal Mail requires up to 10 working days from the date of dispatch before an item can be considered lost. Once this timeframe has passed, we will investigate the issue with the delivery provider using the tracking information provided. We may request confirmation of delivery details to support this process.

Please note that we are unable to investigate or replace/refund items reported as missing before the 10 working day period from point of dispatch has passed.
