Melters

Melters Chocolate is a chocolate-loving team from Northern Ireland with big ideas and warm hearts. "Melter" is a familiar wee word here, so they made it theirs. They took over and built on the well-established Refuge Chocolate brand, a Northern Irish social enterprise known for its handcrafted treats and Do-Good-Food ethos, and are carrying that spirit forward with fresh energy, ethical ingredients and a whole lot of cocoa love.

From their chocolate factory they craft sustainable, traceable chocolate with big flavour and zero shortcuts. In Bolivia, they are helping restore a wildlife reserve in an area devastated by deforestation, regenerating the land, supporting local jobs and building towards a future where they can grow their own cacao. Closer to home, they support Flourish NI, who help people affected by modern slavery.

Their mission is simple: make chocolate that is genuinely top quality using real ingredients, no seed oils, no artificial additives, no shortcuts. Their current cocoa partner produces premium Belgian chocolate that is ethical, traceable and sustainable, supporting farming communities through Cocoa Horizons.
