SD Bell Coffee - Barista 1887

Barista 1887 is S.D. Bell's award winning signature roast, created to celebrate 125 years in business. A top-quality Arabica from Brazil's Minas Gerais region, it's roasted to a medium-dark "City Roast", well after the first crack but just before the second, so there's no oil and less bitterness, for a silky, smooth cup with balanced acidity and a nutty, strong character. It won a Great Taste Award in 2014.

A great general-purpose espresso, a superb Americano, and equally excellent as an after-dinner cafetière. Available as whole beans or ready-ground. Contents: 227g.

Founded in 1887 by Samuel David Bell on the corner site of Church Lane and Ann Street, Belfast, SD Bell & Co is Ireland’s Oldest Independent Coffee Roasters & Tea Blenders.

SD Bell's name and reputation flourished during the first half of the twentieth century, and quickly became synonymous with the best tea and coffee available. 

Now lead by the forth generation of the Bell family, the packaging depicts the founder, a reminder of the company's long tradition of quality and service.
